I guess it’s all dependent on climate, but speaking from personal experience of having a rooftop garden in NYC, I can tell you carrots, radishes and zucchini aren’t easy. First, the root veggies probably take a certain degree of soil depth, but even with deep planters I wasn’t able to get more than a few nubbins. Maybe it was the nutrients in the soil, but it was all top, no carrot for me. And I’ve tried several types of zukes and squash, and haven’t had any fruit whatsoever. Indeed – they now support email logins and I bought one as soon as they did! I really like the device, and it’s helped me avoid a lot of hotel and airport wifi charges. And setting up in hotels and airports is a great way to earn free data – when people use your hotspot to login, you get 100 mb of free data and so do they. Sometimes I just turn it on to let other people use it (and earn me data).
